Exploring Social-Emotional Learning Through Nature-Focused Children’s Literature

Participants explored the connection between emergent, seasonal curriculum and social-emotional classroom dynamics. Attendees learned about high-quality children’s literature that combines nature and social-emotional learning, identified ways to use nature-themed children’s books to build social-emotional skills, and practiced applying a social-emotional lens to classic, nature-themed children’s books.
